Taling Ngam / Taling Ngam Beach
Taling Ngam is a district in the southwestern region of Koh Samui, which is wilder and visited by fewer tourists than the rest of the island.
Maybe that is why this region is called a piece of paradise that you won’t find anywhere else on the island. When people talk about Taling Ngam, they usually mean a long sandy coastline that stretches from Cape Laem Yai Krai to the small Phang Ka Bay.
The northern half of the beach has a gently sloping flat landscape. Coconut palm groves reach the coast. Their slender silhouettes make way for others who have been lucky enough to arrive here, and a beautiful scene emerges with white sand and the bright azure blue of the water surface to the horizon.
The blue tones of the Ang Thong National Marine Park archipelago and the five neighboring small islands named Koh Thalu, Koh Din, Koh Chetta Mun, Koh Mae Koh, and Koh Malaeng Pong, provide an even more breathtaking panoramic view. Taling Ngam is commonly referred to as the beach with the five islands because of the mentioned ones.
